Piyaya is our next area of concentration.
This area is only a few kilometers from the Serengeti and in a wildlife corridor, where animals come out of the park. Lions and wild dogs follow the corridor for an easy meal at a boma. Human/wildlife conflict is a huge problem here, especially for lions. Many get killed and we need lights for 100 bomas in this area.
We just finished 3 bomas there after finally being invited to help them. it's a beautiful area but very dangerous for the lions and the livestock.
Our lights have uses we don't even know about yet, but we do know that we can protect all livestock from all predators,l lions, leopards, wild dogs, and occasionally cheetahs.
Tanzania Lion Illumination Project has found that we can protect piglets from predators !!!! We put lights around these babies in Endulin.
